The Raventa Limited Group of Companies have worked with Safe Opportunities ltd & Vision Beyond Autism over the past few months. The aim to offer vulnerable learners an opportunity to gain a supported internship in the workplace.
Raventa Limited have provided an opportunity for a delightful younger learner to be supported during an internship in the Logistics Department at Lexicraft Limited.
Working alongside the carers at Vision Beyond, Lexicraft Limited, were delighted to give our young learner the best opportunity to develop and gain an insight into the world of logistics.
Yesterday, our very own Sharon Owen presented at the “Vulnerable Learners Meeting” on behalf of Safe Opportunities Ltd to talk about our experiences working with a supported learner, along their pathway on an internship in a real working environment.
Speaking in Sharon’s role as Human Resources & Quality Manager at Raventa Limited, confirmed “that all our colleagues and management in both Raventa Ltd & Lexicraft Ltd have been instrumental in providing a great positive working experience to allow our young learner to grow in confidence. This in turn has resulted in paid employment being offered and becoming an employee at Lexicraft Ltd at the beginning of July 2023.”
It is a good feeling to give something back to the community and being able to provide opportunities for vulnerable individuals. We are proud to have successfully supported and developed our learner, and given them a positive experience at Lexicraft Limited.
